MAKEUP - WEDDING TIPS

Think seriously about hiring a make-up artist for your big day!

BUT IF YOUR CHOICE GOES BEYOND THAT, DON'T BE CAUGHT ON THE WRONG SIDE.

TAKE A CLUE!
Be sure your skin is clean before you put on the make-up, to get the best result. Start with the foundation, which should be so perfectly matched to your skin tone that it disappears.

Use a blush to highlight your features.

The color on your lips is important. A strong color put focus on your lips and a little more natural color put focus on your eyes. Be sure to carry your lipstick with you for touch ups.

The most important in your face is your eyes. Big sparkling eyes always get attention. Do not wear too much eye make-up. Apply concealer to banish dark circles under your eyes. Remember to use matte eye shadows as they will not reflect light or look too shiny. This is also important to remember to get your pictures perfect.

Wear at least two layers of mascara (that is waterproof and withstands tears!) and use an eyelash curler before applying the mascara.

Do not use blue or sparkling eyeliner, as they look too dramatic but this is an option to what look you want to achieve.

Define your brows with a pencil or powder that matches your hair color.

Do have a lovely wedding outing!

MY CONCEPT; AN ART OF BEAUTY

IN ACHIEVING THIS LOOK;
This is a highly pigmented skin, with break out, dry lip and oily skin.
  • FIRSTLY; I cleansed the face and applied oil blocker to reduce shine, then i primed the skin.
  • SECONDLY; I applied a concealer and a foundation to hide the spots and achieve a flawless skin.          applying loosed powder to set the foundation.
  • THIRDLY; I primed the eye before applying a shimmering burnt orange eye shadow to the inner eye lid, then a royal purple to smoke the outer eye lid. contoured the crease with hazel and purple shadow, highlighted the brow-bone with an highlighter. i then set the brow lash with a mascara wand sweeping across brown pencil to fill the lashes.
         The lower lid is not left out, i simply applied gold and purple shadow to the outer lower lid and a       black pencil to the inner lid to create an effect.

         Then with a final effect, i lined the upper lid with a liquid eye liner and then brush out the upper   and lower lashes with volume-blast mascara.
  • NEXT; I moisturized the lip, lined it, fill in cracked parts with lip sticks and blend in with a shinning lip-gloss.
  • FINALLY; I applied blush sparingly to the apple of the cheek, sweeping upward to the temple of the face. then with a translucent powder, i set all the makeup in, giving the face a warm an flawless look.

ALL THAT IS LEFT IS A TRANSFORMED, BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, DOVY LOOK.

HEAD GEAR;
  • This is mostly not left out of the Nigeria traditional dressing and as such must and should be given a priority as well. In achieving this wonderful piece of art, i simply used a well cut-out head-tie and some pins to set-in.
